There is always a quest for knowing the future. The study of astrology and
other predictive sciences (some of them can't be termed as science
according to me) will not see it's end until the final day of mankind
comes in.

I have learnt astrology from my father. I am not much skilled
in it, but want to continue my search for hidden laws that manipulate our
life in so humiliatingly a way that it causes a lot of bewilderment and
pain to the fragile human ego. I always enjoy a good debate over the
truthfulness of such sciences.

Before learning astrology, I studied for some time "The book of fate and fortune" by Count Lewis Hamon ( famously known as 'Chiero'). This happened to be one of the original and comprehensive study of palmistry, which transformed a hard critic like me to learn it just for the sake of the wonder that comes as the principles prove themselves.

After learning Astrology, I tried to connect these two, and hey presto!, they fit in too nicely!! If one study both palmistry and astrology well, one can tell about the chart by seeing the hand or vice versa. This proved beyond any doubt about the credibility of these sciences to me.

One can not ignore the wonder that comes naturally to one's mind as the truthfulness of the astrological principles proves true one after the other. Once this feeling roots itself deep into our mind, we naturally go on exploring eagerly. Some people stop exploring after they encounter some bad and contradictory examples in the early stages, taking no care to explore why it is so. Those who persevere will definitely reach a state where the whole world around him looks in an entirely different and wonderful way, whose orderliness and perfection revealed to its full extent by the understanding of astrological principles.

I often wonder how the ancient people discovered(rather than invented) these things. I feel like a small spec before the cosmological dimensions of those great minds. Great souls like Ramakrishna paramahansa, Sri Ramana, Yogananda Paramahansa, Vivekananda, Sri Yukteswar Giri, and several others didn't refuse the existence of this orderliness, rather they talked about this here and there in their speech. Those who refuse to believe in astrology and refuse to learn anything about it are making themselves blind to a wonderful light which can be used to avoid painful pitfalls in the rough way of human life.

There are so many wonderful works available on astrology. I suggest "Astrology for beginners" by Dr.B.V.Raman ( photo) to get a real and correct picture of astrology.

You can refer to to have a peep at astrology.
